Chrome Extension Privacy Policy
Last updated:
Daily Task Log (“the extension”) is a browser extension that lets you keep a notepad-style daily record of your tasks. Your privacy is simple to explain: the extension does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data.
The notes you type are saved locally on your own device using the browser’s built-in storage (chrome.storage.local). They never leave your computer and are never sent to the developer or to any third party.
Nothing. The extension has no servers, no analytics, no tracking, no accounts, and no advertising. It does not read the pages you visit or access your browsing history.
The extension requests only the storage permission, which is used solely to save your notes on your device so they persist between sessions.
You can clear individual days inside the extension by deleting their text. Removing the extension from your browser deletes all of its locally stored data.
The extension is not directed to children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
This policy may be updated when the extension changes how data is handled. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
