The short version

  • The tools on this site are free, single-purpose, and provided as-is.
  • Don’t submit URLs you don’t control through the IndexNow tool, and don’t try to overload or scrape the endpoints.
  • The Free Google Index Checker uses read-only Search Console access. Revoke it any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  • We’re not liable for damages arising from your use of the site or tools (see Section 9).

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using avinashvagh.com and the tools it hosts, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree with any part of these terms, please don’t use the site.

2. What we provide

We provide free, single-purpose tools for SEO and AI-crawler visibility:

  • Google Crawler Simulator
  • AI Crawler Checker
  • IndexNow Submitter
  • Free Google Index Checker (Search Console URL Inspection)

Most tools require no account. The Free Google Index Checker requires a temporary, read-only OAuth grant to Google Search Console which you can revoke at any time.

3. Free of charge, as-is

The tools are free of charge. They are provided “as-is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of results, or compatibility with any specific workflow or third-party service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit URLs to the IndexNow Submitter for domains you do not own or are not authorised to submit on behalf of.
  • Connect Search Console properties to the Free Google Index Checker that you are not authorised to access.
  • Attempt to overload, scrape, brute-force, or programmatically abuse any endpoint on the site.
  • Probe, scan, or attempt to compromise the security of the infrastructure.
  • Use any tool in violation of applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.
  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to circumvent rate limits, quota meters, or other protective controls.

You are responsible for staying within the quotas of any third-party services you route through (Google, Microsoft Bing, Yandex, etc.).

6. Google authentication and Search Console data

The Free Google Index Checker uses Google OAuth 2.0 to request read-only access (scope webmasters.readonly) to Search Console properties you control.

  • The access token is stored only in your browser’s sessionStorage.
  • Search Console API calls are made directly from your browser to Google — they do not pass through our servers.
  • The tool cannot modify your Search Console properties or any other Google account data.
  • You can revoke this site’s OAuth access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Google enforces a per-property daily quota of 2,000 URL inspections. We display a local quota meter in the tool — Google is the source of truth.

Original written content on the site (guides, playbooks, blog posts) is provided for general educational purposes only. It is not legal, financial, tax, medical, or other professional advice. Do not rely on it as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.

8. Intellectual property

Original content (writing, design, tool implementations) on avinashvagh.com is © Avinash Vagh. Open-source components used in the site retain their original licenses and attributions.

You may quote and link to content on the site with attribution. You may not redistribute it as your own work.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Avinash Vagh shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses — arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the site or any of its tools.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the site at any time. We may update, suspend, or discontinue any tool, endpoint, or part of the site at any time, with or without notice. We may also rate-limit or block access from individual IPs or sessions that abuse the service.

11. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms when we ship new tools or change how existing tools work. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
