Chrome Extension Privacy Policy
Last updated:
LinkedIn List Builder (“the extension”) is a personal productivity tool that stores data locally in your browser. This policy explains exactly what it does and does not do with your information.
When you click “Add this profile” while viewing a LinkedIn profile, the extension reads publicly visible details from that page (name, headline, current company, location, and the profile URL) and saves them in your browser’s local storage. The lists you create and any message template you write are also stored in your browser’s local storage.
This information is used solely to provide the extension’s features to you: organizing saved profiles into lists, personalizing message drafts you write, and exporting your lists to a CSV file when you choose to.
All data is stored locally on your own device using the browser’s chrome.storage API. The extension does not transmit, sell, rent, or share your data with the developer or any third party. It contains no analytics and no tracking. A CSV export creates a file on your own device only when you click Export.
Data stays in your browser until you delete a profile, delete a list, or remove the extension. Uninstalling the extension deletes its stored data.
The extension is not directed to children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
This policy may be updated when the extension changes how data is handled. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
